Jordan grew up in central Utah, and after 6 years in the military he relocated to southern New Mexico where he owned and operated a full-time taxidermy studio for 9 years. He spent many of these years guiding all over the western United States and has hunted or fished in over 20 different states; and traveled from Alaska to South Africa in his pursuit of his passion.  In 2014 he moved his wife and kids to western Nebraska where he was offered a job working as a TAGS and Outdoor Adventures Consultant for Cabela's.
