About Jared Brown

Jared grew up in Central Utah, surrounded by some of the best western big game hunting in the country he has always been an avid hunter and outdoorsman, and spends much of his free time in the woods, marshes, and deserts, hunting or assisting others on their adventures. His passion has taken him on hunting and fishing experience to most of the western states as well as Hawaii.

Truly a well-rounded sportsman, in his spare time you may find Jared in the woods or on the water and never too far away is his English Labrador “Izzy.”  He is an avid waterfowl hunter, as well as he has a serious passion for long range rifle hunting as well as archery. He has hunted and fished some of the Wests most notable destinations, and can still enjoy a night of frog gigging, and long day of fur trapping. He has spent extensive time in Hawaii and taken full advantage of all the islands have to offer from Axis deer hunting to spear fishing, this was really a second home for many years.

Jared loves fine firearms and appreciates good marksmanship. He was a board member of Utah Shooters, an organization that hosts many events a year ranging from long range shoots to 3-gun competitions, as well as introduction to shooting for new shooters. He has organized and hosted these events for as many as a thousand shooters at a time.

Some of Jared’s best experiences in the field have been introducing people to the sport of hunting and helping them find success regardless of their experience. He especially has a soft spot for youth hunters which comes from a special opportunity he had as a young hunter that is likely the event that put him on the path he is on today. He enjoys organizing events to help veterans, the disabled, and new hunters get out and have a quality hunting experiences.

Jared’s dream hunts would be waterfowl hunting in Argentina, Red Deer in New Zealand, Yukon Moose in Alaska, Cape Buffalo in Africa, and a Marco Polo sheep hunt in central Asia.
