This bear permit must be drawn through Alaska Game and fish. Give us a call today for professional application assistance. 

Day 1: Fly to Kodiak Alaska and overnight

Day 2: Charter (Approx. $500 round trip) to the lodge, meet your guide and outfitter,and settle into accomadations or pack into spike camp location depending on where the bears have been located. 

Day 3-12: Hunt

Day 13: Depart the lodge in the morning and charter back to Kodiak, Alaska where you will continue on from there to Anchorage and then home.

Level 4: These hunts are extreme mountain style hunts that will include multiple days of high level exertion to be successful. These hunts will often be a mixture of horseback and backpack style hunting at high elevations with minimal supplies. An extensive physical training regimen is a must prior to this hunt.

Hunts are conducted exclusively on your boots. You and your guide will be leaving your spike camp location or the lodge each day of your hunt in the morning and covering lots of miles per day to and from different strategic glassing locations. Once a mature bear is located you will proceed with spot and stalk methods approaching for your shot.
